So today (again) was something only God could have done and even better to see Him work despite the broken vessels He has to work with. I love when God moves despite us…
Spiritual Emphasis Day continued…we had two middle school boys find us on their lunch hour. They wanted to tell us that yesterday they also gave their lives to Jesus. Well how about that one!?!? 2 more for the kingdom!
AND just as powerful…Randy got the privilege of leading a man new to the church to the Lord after Wednesday Bible Study. POWERFUL!
PRAYER POINT: Even as Christians, we find ourselves discouraged at times in our lives. We struggle with the problems and heartaches that come at us in life. The Bible urges us to encourage one another. At Family of Faith Church and Academy, our fellowship of believers needs encouragement also. Pray how we can encourage our pastors, teachers, students, fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord and workers in Phase 3 in tangible ways. Encourage one another with a kind word, an affirmation of a job well done or a helping hand to help our brothers and sisters in the Lord.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching” Hebrews 10: 24-25
