Praying for the Door Man

March 5, 2018 | PART II: Prayin’ for the Door Man…

The door guy was back sharpening his pencil. I let him know we have been praying for him and his quote. Not quite sure how that made him feel…I didn’t tell him how we COULD pray if his quote is bad. Just sayin…

**SOMETHING COOL – numerous years ago – 5yrs ish – Mr. George somehow ended up with 11 beautiful, wood interior doors that were brand new from the Fire Department. We have been storing them this whole time and now (drum roll please) we get to use them!! The door man said they are the same ones he sells. They run $350 per door and the hardware is actually the most expensive part!! Do the math. Can I have a woot woot for Mr. George!

  • PRAYER POINT: Father we praise you and thank you for the bountiful blessings that you pour out on Families of Faith Church.
  • “Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.” (Psalm103:1).

So, I’m overwhelmed and a tad speechless. We are building a building – WHY? For Kevin and Megan. They are the front cover news story today. Kevin is the one we prayed for after a horrific motorcycle accident last summer. He laid his bike down to avoid an accident and had his head run over by another car. He survived. We prayed. He fought. We prayed. He recovered and came to church and today he and Megan gave their lives to Jesus!
