My name is J Francisco Lara. I was born in a very religious home. Since I was a child I wanted to serve the Lord. I wanted to be a priest. I went to a Catholic Seminary for 3 years. When I met my wife Laura and we got married. We have 3 daughters, Monica, Daniela and Laura. I worked for the Mexican Institute of Social Security, and it was there through some colleagues that I heard about the gospel. I opened my heart to God, and that desire to serve him returned. I studied for the pastorate in the Christian and Missionary Alliance and two years at Berea University. I have helped plant 4 Hispanic churches in the state of Illinois, and currently serve as pastor of Iglesia Familias de Fe y Esperanza.
